In this tutorial, you will learn about Admission From New Patient Creation
View the tutorial video. From the patient creation, when pressing will create the patient and will link to the admission window. 
Here is the admission window:

Admission Date If the infant was admitted on a date other than the one listed, change the date by deleting it and retyping it, or by using the calendar. The Admission Date cannot occur before the Birth Date.
Origin The Origin field lets you specify whether the infant was born at your hospital or transferred. The origin field has only two (2) pre-defined choices, Transfer or Inborn. A Selection Window will be displayed with the choices Transfer and Inborn.
If the infant was born in your hospital, press the Down Arrow key to move the cursor to Inborn.
If the infant has been transferred from another hospital, press Enter. The word “Transfer” will appear in the From field, followed by the word “from” and source character field. Enter the name of the hospital transferring the infant.
Example: Origin: Transfer from St John’s Hospital

The next steps:
Unless the patient is already discharged, do not check the discharged box field.
If you are satisfied with the admission information provided, you may save it now without doing any bed assignment by pressing or proceed a step further with the bed assignment button .
From the admission window, when pressing , the patient admission information is added to the database and the Neonova returns to the Main Patient form.
When is pressed, the following window is displayed.
 A window similar to the Nursery/Beds Main Form is displayed. The superior panel allows nursery selection and the lower panel allows bed selection.
Once the nursery and bed selection is satisfactory, pressing , finalizes the nursery/bed assignment.

The button is not available from the Patient update icon. The edit window:
