In this tutorial, you will learn about Patient Death Information

Recording patient death information is initiated from the admission tab.  The patient needs to be discharged with Disposition set to Expired.


When the patient disposition Expired is confirmed, Neonova returns to Patient Main Form with the Death panel being displayed.
 


When a patient is discharged and the discharged reason is expired, a new window to provide Cause of Death becomes available under the Admission tab environment.

 

Death Details editing becomes available to provide the Death day and cause.

 

Click on   the drop-down choice icon to select a death cause:
 

When one death cause is determined, the date field becomes visible for selection.

 


The down arrow allows you to choose from the calendar.
