Patient variables are pre-defined from the Configuration  Patient Variable.  In Patient Main form, Patient Variable value content of  column fields are free text, meaning you can enter whatever you want, making sense or not.

Warning  Once Field Names are established in the Configuration, their meaning must not be changed or you will lose the relationship between the Field Names and previously entered data. Changing the significance of those fields can create chaos that may not be apparent and that can lead to erroneous conclusions or misinterpretation of data. The System Manager can add new Field Names to the end of the list at any time without affecting earlier data, but should not change their order or position after any data have been entered in the new fields.

Warning  By default, this tab is inactive.  To enable this feature, ask your Neonova System Manager to enable it from the tab visibility feature.

 

 
The batch edit icon   gives you access to all pre-configured variables in one single panel.
 

The Race variable has the ability to refer to a pre-defined pick list.  Just click on the   to give you access to this window selection.  You still have the latitude to overwrite that information and insert whatever you want.

 


Maternal Complication has also pre-defined values.  Just click on the   to give you access to this window selection.  You still have the latitude to overwrite that information and insert whatever you want.
